Thanks for sharing your opinion. There is a very deep explanation about his feet in this pose. In tamil we call it as ‘kunchithapadham’ every sculptor in those days will be taught about that before he starts his job professionally.

I would like to add one more to the above mentioned wonderful and true explanation of the Lord Natarajar Idol. left hand of Natarajar points towards his lifted foot indicating, by surrendering to HIM one gets liberated.

So true.. Sanatana Dharma A way of life…
I always wanted to read Gita but never did..
From my understanding Hinduism accepts everything. its a culture that is designed in such a way that we won’t ruin anything for our greed. We see god in everything… if you can understand it you will find scientific reason for all belief.

I think u r 100% true.. The fact that our own govt doesnt care about our culture and it importance. The world is doing research on Indian culture and learning the technology used by our ancestors. hope our people understand them

Amazing write… 3 months back I saw a documentary here in Kerala about the evils of endosulfan. It has destroyed a generation in many areas where cashewnuts are cultivated. We should all wake up and start using only organic food. It might be a bit costly, but that is the right thing to do and will indirectly change the mindset of the cultivators to shift to organic farming.

It is sad that you are still addressing our way of life as Hinduism. There is no such thing as Hinduism, it is sanatana Dharma a way of life; the westerners named it as one of the ‘isms’. Sanatana Dharma accepts even Atheism unlike any other religion. We said we have 300 million Gods in our ancient texts, because we knew that every human being have the possibility of experiencing the divine. You had four different paths to achieve that realization and Bhakthi is just one of it.

Hi Abhishek,

The Brahmastra is derived from Brahman(the one which pervades everywhere including the sub atomic particles) and not Brahma in my opinion , the root of all creation and existence.

This article is so unbelievably amazing. Bookmarked it and will start a more in-depth research into it soon. Hope can be of some assistance to u in future, Ajith sir.
Also bookmarked this article to show it to my parents and relatives. This article makes me feel so proud as a Hindu / Bhartiya but sad at the same time to know where all that glory of ancient India is gone?

And I am more interested now to study and research on Hinduism / Ancient India.

Also regarding all the troubles in the world I believe that Kalki avatar of Lord Vishnu is definitely a truth that will happen very soon now. Forgive me if I am sounding ignorant. My knowledge on my own religion is not that strong but I will start study and research on it soon.

Ajith sir, I was just about to bring this point that Lord Brahma being the creator then Brahmastra would definitely have to be that ultimate Weapon based on the Basic Unit of all Matter (Atom).
