Independence Day Message – Say NO to the Secular Hounds

Indian Flag

I have always maintained ‘Patriotism’ is a flawed concept. Wars in the name of patriotism is a crime, because we are from a civilization that said

[box type=”info” ] “अयं बन्धुरयं नेति गणना लघुचेतसाम् | उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् || ”

It meas Discrimination by saying “this one is a relative; this other one is a stranger” is for the mean-minded. For those who’re known as magnanimous, the entire world constitutes but a family.

Kaniyan Poonkundranar said this even before (around 2400 years ago)

யாதும் ஊரே, யாவரும் கேளீர்

Which means, ‘every country is my own and all the people are my kinsmen.’  The whole world is like an organism and if one organ is failing then the whole world will suffer.  So in my opinion giving too much importance for patriotism and wars in the name of patriotism and religion is absolutely wrong.[/box]

However celebrating independence day is important, it is important to recount and honor those freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for the greater good of the society they were born in. It is important for us to thank everyone who were responsible for gifting us a free country to live in.  On this day I feel terribly sad for the soldiers killed in the border; we may consider a person as a relative but if he is coming to destroy you, then you have to protect yourself. Today our country is in such a state, where the defense minister instead of protecting the soldiers is playing the vote bank politics by giving a clean chit to Pakistan army, assuming that it will appease the minority.

Sadly, today India needs another independence, an independence from those secular hounds who target fellow Muslim brethren just as an vote bank. Secularism literally means keeping religion out of politics and governance. It is a good thing that India became of Secular country rather than a Hindu country, because never in our history (barring Ashoka and few other kings) there was a state religion. Forget Buddhism and Jainism even  Jews, Parsis, Christians and Muslim settlements lived in peace before 1500 years. It is only after the foreign invasions religion started playing a role in politics, so India becoming a secular country post independence is an important event.

However today secularism is reduced to minority appeasement, Rajiv Gandhi started it off with the Shah Bano verdict. Currently Digvijaya Singh  is taking it to a new high, he goes on record calling Osama as Osama Ji and demanding a better cremation and respect for him.  India’s Ex-Law minister Salman Kurshid goes on record saying that Sonia wept bitterly on seeing the encounter victims (who are proven terrorists and are convicted).  It is not new, he has been provoking the innocent Muslims all along. In 1986  in his book At Home In India, Khurshid wrote that in 1984, when the Sikhs were massacred in Delhi, “there was terrible satisfaction among the Muslims, who have not completely forgotten the Partition’s unpleasant aftermath. Hindus and Sikhs were alike paying for their sins”.

Whenever someone is questioned on corruption or criminal activity, they have an easy way out by saying that they are secular. Even the deadly sand mafia is using the secular card to suspend an honest IAS officer. These secular hounds are such hypocrites that they safely forget the meaning of secularism but will call themselves as secular. These seculars celebrate Vivekananda’s birthday and Gandhi’s birthday grandly.

Swamy Vivekananda repeatedly declared India as Hindu nation.

Comparing the three living nations – English, French and Hindu – he said ‘the Hindu nation is still living’ because of its religion. He condemned the Hindus saying most of the real evils for which the foreign races abuse the Hindu nation are only owing to us and pointed to jealousy as the reason why the Hindu nation with all its wonderful intelligence have gone to pieces.

Agonised at religious conversions, he said, “every man going out of the Hindu pale is not only a man less, but an enemy the more.”

How can these secular people celebrate his 150th birthday in such a grand way? Isn’t he communal according to them?

“Though the majority of the Mussulmans of India and the Hindus belong to the same ‘stock’, the religious environment has made them different. being heir to fresh traditions he exhibits the virility of a comparatively new system of life. 1,300 years of imperialistic expansion has made the Mussulmans fighters as a body. They are therefore aggressive. Bullying is the natural excrescence of aggressive spirit. The Hindu is an age-old civilisation. He is essentially non-violent.”

If someone said this today, he will be branded as communal and there will be protest march everywhere. However it was said by none other than the father of nation Mahatma Gandhi.

‘The strategy to solve the minorities problem was that of Hindutva or Indianisation. This strategy, briefly stated, aims at developing a uniform culture by obliterating the differences. This was felt to be the way to communal harmony and national unity and put an end once and for all to the minorities’ problem.’

This was said by one of the most important Islamic scholar of modern times Maulana Wahiuddin Khan. Is he communal? The fact is vast majority of the Muslim people in India wants peace, unity and development. However the Pseudo-secularists are trying hard to create fear among them and are trying to cut them out of the main stream society, so that they can continuously exploit them as mere vote-banks.

Aurobindo Ghosh said “Our nation was born with the Sanatan Dharma, with it it moves and with it it grows. When the Sanatan Dharma declines, then the nation declines, and if the Sanatan Dharma were capable of perishing, then with the Sanatan Dharma it would perish.”

Tolerance, inclusiveness, unity and respect for every religion is our way of life. We are inclusive by birth, we don’t want these Pseudo-Secularists to tell us about secularism. On this day let us select our representatives purely based on their merits and end the anarchy created by these corrupt secular hounds.
